Vorige week stelden we met Jelle Wallays al de eerste nieuwkomer voor van Lotto Soudal. Vandaag is het de beurt aan de 31-jarige Tomasz Marczynski. Het is al een poos geleden dat Lotto Soudal nog eens een Pool in de rangen gehad heeft, met Marczynski heeft de ploeg er een viervoudige nationale kampioen bij. Tomasz kwam vorig seizoen uit voor de Turkse ploeg Torku Sekerspor. Naast het nationale kampioenschap was hij de beste in de Ronde van Marokko en de Ronde van de Zwarte Zee. Hoe Marczynski de jeugdcategorieën doorkwam, wat zijn band met Italië is en hoe een Poolse renner in een Belgische ploeg terechtkomt, leest u hieronder.

El CCC polaco está revolucionando el mercado de fichajes y, en medio de todos los movimientos realizados, sorprendió la salida de Tomasz Marczynski, pedalista que tenía contrato en vigencia y debió buscarse rápidamente un hueco.

Faltan días para iniciar la Vuelta a España, una de las carreras más importantes del mundo, que en esta edición contará con una participación de lujo pocas veces vista, pero también con corredores en busca de enderezar su temporada o conseguir un nuevo contrato. Y entre estos últimos se encuentra el polaco de Vacansoleil Tomasz Marckzynski, que Rey de la montaña en Polonia— Rey de la montaña en Polonia apenas corrió este año, ya que luego de operarse tras la Tirreno Adriático, no volvió a ser competitivo hasta fines de julio en el Tour de Polonia en el que ganó la clasificación de la montaña.

Former Polish road and time trial champion, 28 year old Tomasz Marczynski (Vacansoleil-DCM) from Krakau has been riding a very consistent Vuelta; his nine top twenty stage finishes have brought him to the edge of the magic top ten in only his second Grand Tour. Ed Hood caught up with the talented up and coming rider on the second rest day to get his take on the Vuelta so far.

One of Vacansoleil’s more exotic recruits for season 2012 was reining Polish Elite road and time trial champion, Tomasz Marczynski. Marczynski took out his first pro licence in 2006 with Italian squadra Ceramica Flaminia, the same year he landed second place in the Polish Elite Road Race Championship – an event he has excelled in over the years.

Il Giro di Polonia è alle porte. Siamo oggi con uno degli esponenti più in vista del ciclismo polacco, che proprio del giro nazionale ne ha fatto uno dei suoi obiettivi maggiori della stagione, stiamo parlando di Tomasz Marczynski, campione nazionale in linea ed a cronometro 2011.
