Hi. I’m Tiffany Cromwell, a professional cyclist from Adelaide, Australia. Currently, I’m in the South of France close to Nice at my European training base. I love to be on the water, playing with paddle boards, wake boarding, jet skis, any water sport activity really. I also enjoy cooking and photography along with design and fashion.

We are now within six weeks of the start of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and while some federations have already announced their Olympic rosters, many athletes around the globe are nervously waiting to hear if they’ve made the selection for this pinnacle event.
Throughout my career I’ve struggled with finding balance.

South Australia's Tiffany Cromwell was recently crowned Cycling Australia's Elite Women's Road Cyclist of the Year after a season that included a fifth in the World Championships road race and fourth in the Commonwealth Games road race. In 2015 and beyond, Cromwell is aiming higher.

On the eve of the Australian championship road race RIDE spoke with one of the favourites, Tiffany Cromwell. The 25-year-old from Specialized-lululemon recognises that the late withdrawal of team-mate, Loren Rowney, means she’ll effectively be racing on her own. Rivals for the title include the five-woman line-up from her former team, Orica-AIS, as well as the likes of last year’s runner-up Jo Hogan and a host of others from the national and international scene.

Last weekend, Orica-AIS rider Tiffany Cromwell won the women's Omloop Het Nieuwsblad in a two-up sprint against Rabobank's Megan Guarnier. Last night, she sat down for a Skype interview with CyclingTips in which she spoke about her Het Nieuwsblad victory, the season ahead, running a marathon with only a month's training, riding with Formula 1 drivers, and more. Tiffany Cromwell is one of Australia’s most promising young riders. With a strong start to the 2011 season at the Jayco Bay Criterium (she won Stage 2 and the Sprints Classification there), she’s definitely a cyclist to keep an eye out for this year.

Tiffany Cromwell is about to ride the Giro del Trentino, a hilly three day course in Italy. There’s a few thousand meters of climbing and this race is an excellent opportunity to gauge her physical and mental condition before July’s ten day Giro d’Italia.
