Dominik Nerz war eines der aufregendsten deutschen Radsport-Talente. Doch nach vielen Stürzen auf den Kopf darf er nur noch spazieren gehen - mit 27.

Dominik Nerz is a 24 year old rider from BMC Racing Team. Hestarted his career as a professional at the age of 20 at Milram. Milram left the peloton at the end of 2010 and Nerz made a move to Italy to Liquigas – Cannondale. He rode for the Italian team for 2 years and then joined BMC Racing Team at the start of 2013. Nerz made a steady but nice progression over the years and was getting in some very nice results at the end of 2013. With a 14th place in the GC of the Vuelta a Espana as an absolute highlight. Besides the good result in GC he also came in 6th! at the stage that finished on the Angrilu and 4th at the stage that finished on the Sallent De Galleo (Formigal). If Nerz can keep progressing like he did in the last years he could well be winning some nice races in 2014!
