Non reconduit fin 2020 au sein de la formation Israel Start-Up Nation et sans contrat à l’aube de la saison 2021, Mihkel Räim a trouvé refuge après quelques mois dans l’équipe Continentale polonaise HRE Mazowsze Serce Polski. Grâce à ses bons résultats, le Champion d’Estonie en titre a trouvé finalement une place au sein d’une formation UCI ProTeam pour la saison 2022, à savoir Burgos-BH.
