Alessandro Covi is part of the generation of baby phenomena that are imposing themselves in the world of cycling. The 23-year-old from Varese, nicknamed the Puma of Taino and one of the new faces of Italian cycling, grew up in Team Colpack before joining in 2020 to the UAE Team Emirates on tiptoe with the ambition to climb more and more the hierarchies of the Emirati team.

Nel 2018 è stato il primo italiano in classifica generale al Giro d’Italia Giovani Under 23, l’unico a chiudere in top ten (8°). Alessandro Covi, varesino di Taino, veste anche quest’anno la maglia del Team Colpack.
