South Australia’s Chris Jongewaard recently competed in the 2011 Australian Mountain Bike Championships. Chris took out 1st place in the Cross Country, Elite Men and in the Short Course Cross Country, Elite Men categories.

In September of last year Chris Jongewaard was sentenced to nine months in jail over a hit-run accident which seriously injured his former training partner. I caught up with Chris a couple days ago to talk about his time in jail, his racing, his new perspectives on life, and his future.
