Serge Pauwels
PEZ Talk: MTN’s Serge Pauwels

Pez Cyclingnews, 29 December 2015
This year he was snapped up by Brian Smith for Pro Continental MTN-Qhubeka starting his season in Oman before riding the Tour of Turkey – where he took a strong fifth – then the Dauphine before an excellent showing in Le Tour where he seemed to be in the break every day with an eventual 13th on GC. He rode the Tour of Britain before finishing the season strongly in the Italian semi-classics. His adventure with the African team continues into 2016 as the team becomes Dimension Data and moves up to the World Tour.

the Tour de Langkawi 2015 Winner Tells All
Millionaires living in Monaco and the late, great Alan Van Heerden apart, the recent Tour de Langkawi saw perhaps the best ever result for an African cyclist with Algerian and MTN Qhubeka climber/sprinter Youcef Reguigui taking the penultimate stage up Fraser’s Hill, grabbing the leader’s jersey and

On his move to MTN-Qhubeka and Winning the Trofeo Andratx-Mirador d’Es Colomer
I’ve told it before but it’s worth telling again; my favourite Steve Cummings story - it’s the one where he’s in a Tour of Britain breakaway with Dan Fleeman; ‘the only reason I went through was to get a rest, it was easier out in the wind than it was on his wheel!’ our Dan told us.

Edvald Boasson Hagen

I just want to win more races
A rider made for the Classics, but who is equally impressive in stage races or in the ITT, Boasson Hagen didn’t have a great season in 2014, and at the end of it he took many people by surprise when he decided to switch teams and sign with MTN-Qhubeka, where he’s sure of getting plenty of opportunit
