Vassili Davidenko
"This will be my last season on the bike"

nyvelocity.com, 28 August 2006
Vassili Davidenko is a bad-ass bike racer. Starting in Tblisi, Georgia in 1983 at just 13 years old, he first rose to the top of the Soviet cycling world, training under the rigorous schedule of the world’s best amateur program. With the collapse of the Soviet Union in the late 80s he had the opportunity to move first into the professional peloton in Europe, and then to America.

"I won't be sinking..."
This weekend Power makes his return to competition with a ride in the Tour of Ulster. The plan is to build form with Irish competition, and then to aim for strong rides with the Navigators Insurance team later in the year.

A Look Back to Brasstown Bald 2004
Cesar Grajales jumped out of the pack and became a shining climbing star at Brasstown Bald in 2004, attacking at the bottom of the climb and carrying the lead all the way to the finish, in front of the likes of Lance Armstrong, Jens Voight and Chris Horner.

Phil Zajicek

"Tucson is awesome this time of year."
The soft-spoken and well-read Phil Zajicek is a far cry from the typical cyclist: The 26-year-old from Tucson, Arizona has been called one of the hippest cyclists around, and thrives on good coffee, fine food, good wine and good books.
