Nato il 23 febbraio 1979 a Cittadella, Andrea Moletta è passatoprofessionista nel 2003 con la Mercatone Uno, dopodichè è stato nel Team Barloworld Androni Giocattoli e dal 2005 alla Gerolsteiner. Finora, una vittoria e tanti piazzamenti, con il compito ben preciso del gregariato.
