De 24-jarige Fries Marcel Beima is een van de nieuwe renners bij het continentale team van Rabobank. Vorig jaar reed de allrounder vanaf augustus enkele maanden als stagiair bij T-Mobile. Ondanks aardige prestaties in onder meer de 3-Länder Tour zat een contract bij de Duitse profploeg er nog niet in.
