After Svein Tuft's incredible 7th place in last month's Olympic Time Trial, the Canadian was considered one of the favourites for Stage 3 of the Tour of Missouri, the 29 kilometre Branson Time Trial. Tuft didn't disappoint, finishing in third place on the stage and moving into third on GC.

His granddad represented Norway in the 1936 Winter Olympics, he was the 2007 UCI Americas Tour winner; this year he won four golds at the Pan Am Games - and he was an excellent seventh in the Olympic TT at Beijing. He’s four times Canadian elite time trial champion, Svein Tuft.

"Yeah, tomorrow's stage might be hard"

Gnarly Canadian in Georgia
Canadian Eric Wohlberg is a three-time Olympian and has been racing for fifteen years. He joined the all Canadian continental Symmetrics Pro Cycling Team in 2004. While the team was snubbed by the Amgen Tour of California, they were invited and are racing in the Tour of Georgia.
