Following the announcement that Taylor Phinney will be joining BMC Racing for 2011, the team held a short teleconference call Wednesday for a group of journalists. Joining Phinney was BMC president Jim Ochowicz, as well as his father, two-time Tour de France stage winner Davis Phinney.

US Under 23 time trial champion Andrew Talansky has signed a three-year contract with Garmin-Transitions beginning in 2011. The Florida native will be taking part in the Giro della Valle d´Aosta, the Tour de l'Avenir and the U23 Worlds time trial and road race in Melbourne.
