"I will be there in Canada"
Just over three months ago Marco Pinotti had a bad crash on stage 19 of the Giro d’Italia, fracturing his acetabulum in his pelvis. Bed-bound for weeks, he returned to training at the start of August and, five weeks on from that, is ready to begin racing again.

"My aim is to peak for London 2012"
Marco Pinotti crashed badly during this years Giro d’Italia, resulting in a compound fracture of his hip and an enforced period of up to three months off the bike. After undergoing surgery to repair the damage, Marco is finally turning the pedals again in the hope of a full recovery.

Feeling good and ready for the Tour
At the age of 26, Tony Martin reckons he is ready to give it a go with the overall classification of the Tour de France next month. His victory at Paris-Nice in March gave him the credit that he can be HTC-Highroad’s GC rider in July after being only their time trial sensation.

A star is born
John Degenkolb, 22, won his first World Tour race as he out-sprinted super motivated Frenchmen Samuel Dumoulin, Sébastien Hinault and Thomas Voeckler at the end of Stage 2 of the Dauphiné with a spectacular uphill finish at the Croix-Rousse of Lyon.

Building up and up
One of the surprises of the 2011 Giro was the ride HTC-Highroad’s Alex Rasmussen produced in the final stage time trial in Milan. Despite a puncture in the last kilometre, the big Dane ran a scant seven seconds behind winner and Worlds silver chrono medallist David Millar.

Still happily humble
Marco Pinotti was close to getting the pink jersey back at the end of stage 5 of the Giro d’Italia. But the engineer from HTC-Highroad said at the start of the race in Piombino, that he was already delighted with what he achieved on the first day of the Italian Grand Tour.
