Two brothers - second and third overall in the Tour de France, it doesn’t come much better than that. Well, it could and maybe it will this year, and not for the want of trying. At the recent Spanish RadioShack training camp in Calpe, the Schleck brothers were available for a chat after their ride. Many subjects were covered, although the conversation always came back to the Tour. I just had to ask about their time trialing and that Japanese TV interview...

Surprised to be in Red
The leader's jersey of the Vuelta a España was yellow and called maillot amarillo when Lars Michaelson wore it for four days in 1997. Riding for TVM, he won the first stage of the Vuelta that started in Lisbon and finished on the car racing circuit of Estoril in Portugal.
