Ryan wraps up season on a high

Despite a difficult start to the season, Garmin-Cervélo rider Carla Ryan finished 2011 on a high with a ride as co-captain of the Australian squad at last month’s UCI Road World Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is anticipating the commencement of 2012.

Australian sprinter Rochelle spends her year riding across the hemispheres, from Europe with the Lotto Honda Team to the Honda Dream Team in Australia – and in 2010, instead of taking a break between them, she was out in Delhi, winning the Commonwealth Games Road Race.
