It's not over yet
Oscar Pereiro lost the yellow jersey to Floyd Landis on L'Alpe d'Huez yesterday, but regained it in spectacular style by placing third in today's stage to La Toussuire after Landis cracked. Now the Spaniard has a 1'50 lead on GC, but will it be enough?

Seizing opportunities

In the footsteps of Charly Gaul
Fränk Schleck took his biggest victory today by winning the Tour's 15th stage to L'Alpe d'Huez - the first rider from Luxembourg to do so. After being in the breakaway for most of the day, Schleck was able to drop Damiano Cunego with 2 km to go to solo to victory.

Conservatism pays off
Floyd Landis regained the maillot jaune with a solid, but by no means swashbuckling ride to finish fourth on L'Alpe d'Huez. Landis stayed with Andreas Klöden for much of the climb, catching some of the early breakaways to end just 1'10 behind winner Fränk Schleck.

A beautiful victory
Pierrick Fedrigo took Bouygues Telecom's first Tour de France stage win today in Gap. The 2005 French champion outsprinted former Italian champion Salvatore Commesso in a classic two-man duel, with the peloton hot on their heels.

Expect the unexpected
Oscar Pereiro was slightly disappointed to miss out on the stage win today in Montélimar, but received an unexpected reward when Phonak slowed down the peloton so much that he jumped from 46th to 1st in the general classification.

Jens Voigt has been on the attack almost every day in the past week, but today on the way to Montélimar was the first time it actually worked. Voigt won the 13th stage from Oscar Pereiro after a 200+ km breakaway, and all the suffering in the past couple of weeks has finally paid off.
