American sprint star Tyler Farrar is known for podium appearances in the Grand Tours. Riding for Garmin-Transitions in 2010, Farrar won two stages at both the Vuelta a Espana and the Giro d'Italia, and picked up a second and a third place finish in stages at the Tour de France.

Garmin's Timmy Duggan has come a long way back from that day in the 2008 Tour of Georgia when he hit the tarmac at 100 km/h and was left with life-threatening injuries. Season 2011 promises to be better, boosted by the news that he's just signed for Italian 'super squadra' Liquigas.
